Oh, I almost forgot...

...the 1895 Win. Here's a Hi Grade (have a matched pair serial-numbered Standard and Hi Grade).

I think the rifle that fits the criteria of the title is the Marlin 39a. Older ones with the darker wood are very pleasing!

The 1911 is an attractive pistol.

Actual Russian Dragunov.

Some of those high end over and under skeet shotguns.

This a double rifle that weighs 1 kilogram (2.2#) and is available in either 22 hornet or 17 HMR
You have excellent taste Pete is probably the most talented younger generation gunmaker out there.

Nothing is prettier than a fine old flintlock longrifle with a well done, highly figured stock.

^^ This, definitely this. I also think a well-worn hog leg has a lot of appeal.

Here are the three in my safe:

1977 Marlin 39A after a 3 month make-over by a specialist in the craft:

Runner up (Cimarron Model 1872 Open Top in .38). Another factory photo since mine is lousy:

I can't believe no one beat me to it.....hi-point 45 acp....hands down...a slide of beauty, a grip of grace, and that Phillips screw in just the right place.

Hey, someone had to say it.....

Humor off.

+1 to oneounceload....how could you ever shoot something like that

Mixing alcohol and firearms? Unacceptable!

I'm sure that's for sippin' when you come home from the range and you are admiring your targets. Except for me it is an ice cold Eye of the Hawk Select Ale in a frozen mug. Nothing washes down the taste of burnt gun powder in the mouth like an Eye of the hawk.
