Also bought my 3rd 1911 back in September, and due to moving, never got around to taking pics of all three together until just the other day. So it's about time!

You are looking at:

a Cimarron 1911 in high-polished blued

a ltd edition S&W 1911 in polished stainless. It's one of only 250 like it in the world. It's my favorite gun of my entire collection, and it's my 'free time' CCW

and a Ruger SR1911, which is what I carry 40+ hours a week on duty (armed security & burglar alarm response)

all three are steel, 5", in .45acp

had a couple hiccups with the Ruger first time I took it shooting, which turned out to be the mag. It's been 100% reliable every shot ever since. Got 1500+ through the Cimarron with zero fails ever, and 7000+ through the Smith with zero fails ever. No kiddin.
I'm a 1911 guy all the way, been shooting for 19 years and I've tried just about everything there is out there.

Some new grips...

Two items checked off the bucket list...series 70 colt and a set of Esmeralda grips.

As soon as I out smart my computer and figure out how to post a pic I'd love to throw mine up!

Picked up my first dan wesson 1911 today..... Now I'm afraid it won't be my last

My plan in the near future is to add a rail up front to fit a TLR-1 and have it cerakoted by a local guy. Probably keep the black parts black and the "nickel" parts will either be a very dark matt grey or a bronzish color.

This was an AMT Hardballer, my first pistol. Lot of history with and work into this polished turd. And will add more...




My 9mm STI Spartan. I flat topped the slide to have the front dovetail recut to a Novak, removed the billboard while I had it on the machine. The LPA sight was replaced with a fixed Harrison that I modified to my liking, also installed a Harrison mag catch. I used a light rail from Mars Armament (Dawson copy) with a Dawson adapter to mount the X300 Ultra, which is too bright for indoor use IMO, so the lens has some static cling window tint. The frame is not green, it just came out that way in the pic. Have a few more sharp corners to address, and will send it to Birdsong.
