Love the old-school rifles... here's my SP1.... no, the mag is not original.....

The top one is a 12.5" pistol I built on a brand new Seekins billet upper & lower, the bottom two are newly "restored" ... they got parts I had originally bought for the Seekins, but decided wasn't the look I wanted as it progressed.

I really like the balance and feel of the A1 stock with that 16" barrel. It just feels right in a way the M4 stock wouldn't.

It's too bad my carbine wasn't offered this way in the first place.

I do have one more................ but it's a Swiss AR. This is one of 5 known to be in the US, and the only one with no import marks.

Absolutely mint 1987 original Swiss Army issue, no import marks at all, Hawkeye Pro Borescope shows it to be virtually unfired.

Thanks, and here's a bit of idiocy. This particular rifle, being in the US is valued at $21,000.00. The very same rifle in this condition in Switzerland is valued at $885.00.

Does it have full auto? I guess it wouldn't be civilian legal if it was built in 1987 and full auto.

No, the Army issue was never made in full auto. It was 3 round burst or semi, and after a couple of years all were issued as semi-auto with the exception of usually one soldier in a squad.

This particular model 90 PE wasn't issued for sale to civilians in any country. The rarity is nothing more than laws that prevented them from coming into the US, nothing more than that.

Around 1990 the 550s and 551's in the civilian format came into the US. I bought 5 of each for resale and never considered that once they were gone I'd not be able to replace them. I was pretty darned sorry that I hadn't kept one of each, carbine and rifle. I paid $1,150.00 each. Later on they sold for a cool $5,00.00 each.

I paid $4,800 earlier this year for a 551 police trade-in ... and was happy to get it at that price

Here's my latest build. Midwest billet upper/lower/hand guards. MI bcg 18" rifle length BHW barrel. Yhm annihilator flash hider and spikes buffer/extension.



And here's one for the wifey.

Here's my most recent build... a 16" pencil middy I put together for home defense and run 'n gun. Aimpoint Comp M for the optic.

Wow, you fellas have some awesome rifles! My modest, brand new PSA MID length with SS barrel.
I'm getting the itch to build something. AR10 maybe?

Really nice rifles here for sure.
I just put my first AR together a couple of weeks ago. I went the inexpensive route. PSA blemished premium rifle kit, PSA blemished stripped lower. Not the best pic I realize.

Here's mine. Just a plain ol' 14lb A2 (with a Krieger 1:7 match barrel, free float tube, Geissele NM trigger and Turner NM sling ):

My latest build in .223 Wylde. PSA upper and lower, CMC trigger, Wilson 18" SS barrel with target crown, Troy handguard cerakoted Foliage Green and magpul stock and grip also FG. Going to top it with a 4x12 Nikon Scope (on order).

Here's mine. It's actually wearing a CTR now.

You just need 3 more and you could make a nice warehouse shelf with that KeyMod forearm.
