im in tn near the cherokee capitol, choto, though they aren't the ones who used flint arrowheads, they are a lot older. woods indians and back, i collect, and make them too. there are several knapp ins around here.
i had that problem with one of those about that time,70's, best i remember the firing pin hole through the frame was too small and wouldn't let the pin fall through easy enough.
you take a big chunk of flint and whack in with antler or (modern way),a piece of copper pipe full of lead with the end cap rounded out.spall, once you get a rough arrowhead shape, take a sharp antler (copper rod modern) and pressure chip flakes to make an arrowhead.knapp.
i keep a fubus holster zip tied to a slat under the bottom mattress fondation ,(have to cut the cloth on bottom, just a few slits) positioned so i can just roll over and reach it without even getting ouy from under the covers, (no kids), other than while sleeping i always just carry something.

gunny guy i just cut a starline 10mm in half and measured the un-supported area on my cbob. it had a thirty seconths of an inch unsupported in the throated area, bottom half. safe to shoot with heavy loads? double tap ammo.
i KNOW what ramped or not IS, that was not my question, the delta shown is NOT ramped, just like my 07 cbob. i just want to know why dan/cz went from un ramped to ramped mid stream, even the ramped barrels have some cut out under the cartridge too.
cbob's weren't ramped before 08, mines not. same set up as a colt 1911 .45. i've yet to find anyone that can tell my why beyond, well its just stronger.
you haven't lived till you shoot a new gun and feel something hit you in the head then feel something running down your face. no not a taurus either. i bought the first naa .22 i saw. went to shoot it and it sprayed my hand and forehead with lead. went back to the house and picked all the...
