I placed my order in May. He was quick to take my money but has not replied ever since he was outside the 45 day refund window of Gunpal. He has also told others that he has over 100 people on his waiting list (all that have paid like me) so 100 people at $65 each is $6500 that he has taken and...
Well this thread is a few weeks old but I assume you are still here so I'll go ahead and give it my opinion:D
Yes, that sounds like a great combo. The .223 combined with the POSP 6x should be pretty sweet.
I'm looking at get a 4x or 6x POSP for my saiga x39 right now.
I recommend Springfield XD 45 fullsize grip with the tactical 5" barrel
I carry a Springfield XD45C daily and love it.
The Glock would be my second choice.
That is upsetting. Pretty soon they will be banning "thought crimes" ... minority report anyone?
It is basically the same thing...once they outlaw all of these weapons you will be arrested and charged with a crime...because you possessed a firearm that was capable of holding more than 10...
My father in law has one of those. His dad gave it to him and told him it was a family heirloom.
5 minutes of google research and we found it was a suicide special and worth nothing.
I would try to find a gun buyback or just throw it away. The gun is worth nothing.
OP: I am going to go ahead and give you the parts list for a Saiga conversion (just once) so you can "believe" that conversions CAN cost very little. This is an actual conversion that I did on a budget.
1 Tapco SAW-STYLE PISTOL $18.00 (can substitute any $5 AK pistol grip if US)

You just had to correct me, didn't you nalioth:D I (in my great knowledge), of course already knew that was the reason they kept the pin in the polymer mags...to keep the pressure off of the shells so they wouldn't deform.
I was trying to make the OP feel better because the first guy...
Not really anything to knock on it except it is a working man's pistol...if I find one for $200 or less I will buy it for a truck gun/around the house gun. Right now I am comfortable using a CZ 82 for that purpose.

christcorp,
I don't know anything about the Golani but I can tell you this: the Saiga is extremely well built and there is no way the Golani is better than it. The Saiga rifles are very "heavy duty" plus you get the ability to modify them to YOUR needs and on your schedule. They can be found...
I'm going to have to go ahead and ask for proof as well on the milled is more accurate than stamped statement:D You know I love atlantic firearms but...
I would think that perhaps milled MIGHT be more accurate than stamped in full auto because milled AK's are heavier but I cannot be certain...
I think it is good you asked this question:D
Specifically because they are polymer tapco magazines. I would check and make sure that the feed lips aren't cracked and are still holding up well but besides that you should be fine. I HAVE HEARD of some Saiga 12 owners drilling a small hole at...
I really like my converted Saiga 7.62x39. If you do get the .223 I will also recommend getting the AR mag adapter.
Basically what you will get from the internet is this:
Good AR > Good AK variant in .223 > Cheap AR > Cheap AK
Then you have to add $$ to the above:
Good AR...
