Not much personally, but a fellow I used to shoot with a few years ago had a Shepherd scope, that's the "one-shot-zero" scope you see advertised in the Shotgun News, and he liked it a lot.
I didn't get to play with it much to seee how it worked, but it seemed like a pretty good scope.
Avoid the Indian stuff. It's sealed with tar, and it will screw up your gun.
S.A. is good, Aussie is good, U.S. Surplus is good (although hard to find these days).
I think the Shotgun News had some good deals on S&B ammo- it's new manufacture, too.
FWIW, there is a difference between American Muslims and middle east
Muslims.
I've encountered both. A lot of people here haven't.
This is supposed to be about guns.
Lets stop talking about this crap.

The Curious Lack of Curiosity About WMD...
I've seen a couple of negative responses about RIA 1911's.......where is all this coming from?
I picked up a RIA from gunbroker.com for less than $300, and it's a great pistol! It's a budget gun, so there are a few things that could stand upgrading, but it works great. If you are after a...
Everyone thought Saddam had WMD's, including the UN, France, Germany, and Russia.
Iraq is about the size of California, but there's a lot of desert to hide stuff in over there. Hell, look at how long it took to find Saddam- and he was the
most wanted man in Iraq, and everyone knew what he...
I have had a 5906 S&W for about ten years or so. I have lost track of how many rounds I have put through it, but I don't remember it ever choking on me. There have been a few malfunctions that I chalk up to crappy ammo.
After my wife and I got married, we went through a bad time financially...
I never thought too much of Chuck Taylor's writing, personally. "Guns & Ammo" had a piece from him in "The Complete Book of the 1911" a couple of months ago- called "100 Years of Combat". Thought it was kind of hammy.
OTOH, the same mag had an article by Patrick Sweeney about customizing your...
That reminds me of a story I read in a gun magazine about stupid gun tricks.
There was a guy who went out shooting with his family once. They had a great time, and they were mostly shooting .22's. This guy was keeping a bunch of loose .22 LR ammo in a shirt pocket. It was the same shirt...
I don't know if they do anymore, but I have heard of them using .357's. But they were S&W's not Rugers. I think it also depended on where the embassy in question was, along with a few other things, on whether you had a revolver or an automatic. Mostly political stuff, it went along with whether...
Azrael is right; the skin of the Japanese planes, especially the zero, was pretty thin. Compared to the American planes, they weren't built with too much survivability in mind; armor was minimal, and I understand that their armament wasn't thought of too highly by American pilots, even though...
Dri-Slide was a molybedenum disulfide-based lubricant. I'm not into chemistry, so I don't know if that's a graphite based compound. I remember seeing it as late as 1995 or 1996, so it might still be around.
Gatorade is good, so is jerky, magazines, and other stuff. Dip and smokes are good...
