I'm glad that the name Alessi marches on, now with a website from which to order, but I wish that it were with a better product (or at least a similar level of quality as before) that his daughter and friend followed in Lou's footsteps.
I finally found some of the new Alessi product in a...
It's so soothing to look at a big, boxed pile of .30 caliber centerfire ammo, just come across your threshold, and know that you're supplied for a good, long while ...
... especially when there are yet another three cases on backorder, coming some time in December.

Ain't nobody...
I need to find some more magazines for my 39-2, and I've gotten the impression that some older-style 3913 magazines will work. I have one now that looks a lot like a 3913 magazine, but blued, and it fits 9 rounds and has a red follower. It works in the 39-2, even though it seems to poke out a...
CHOSE a shotgun for HD and 3-gun competition: Browning BPS HD (see end of thread)
Okay, here's the deal.
My Ithaca 37 (18.5" barrel King Ferry M&P model) just croaked on me. I think it has a broken firing pin, first off, and then a "helpful" (arrogant and abusive, too) range employee managed...
What do I need to do, if anything, to prepare this for removal? What do I need to use to unscrew it? Any old pair of pliers? Can I assume that the rule is still "righty-tighty," "lefty-loosey"? I'm thinking of either replacing it with a tritium bead, or going whole hog and putting an MMC...
I haven't started to reload yet, but I will set up for it this summer.
Question one: Segregation
I know that you should try to keep brass together that has been fired once/twice, etc., but some of the stuff that I have is range pick-up. Some of the people that I shoot with have expensive...
Look for "live vote" in lower right corner of page:

Philadelphia's own DA has told the mayor and police commissioner both that the laws are unconstitutional, unenforceable, and illegal, and still they're attempting to convince the DA to prosecute, even...

The mayor of the City of Philadelphia, Michael Nutter, has signed into law, on this date, April 11, 2008, five bills concerning firearms:

Sorry if I'm repeating the message, but the cut and paste in the other thread about what's going on in Philly missed a very important point.
The law concerning "assault weapons" indicates that ten rounds is the limit on magazine capacity.
From The Daily News:
From the city's web site...

Evidently, what he does gets noticed.
His work, reviewed by others, some of them easily flustered...
An email came out from Century today, and at the very end were these chilling words:
:what:
I thought it would never it end.
Thankfully, AIM is still cheap, and one state away for stop-n'-shop road trips!

I've emailed the guy, as hopefully others have, as well. Consider this a cautionary tale.

Wow, just freakin' wow ...

What the heck is it going to be going for in October?
I, for one, intend not to care in the least, because I'm getting it now, while I can without a home equity loan.
Don't be afraid to click the link. It's sort of our equal and opposites -- sort of. Always, always amazing.
Really, you'll never believe some of the stuff you read there.
Let's say that DC v. Heller produces a decision favorable to at least the removal of the DC ban, and perhaps an end to the Sullivan law in NYC, but we wind up anyway with a President likely to push a worst-case AWB II?
What's going to happen?
