I have a PT745 (single stack version) and have over 1,000 rounds through it of varying brands and bullet styles with zero FTF, FTE, etc.
I've carried it concealed daily IWB and OWB and openly on a number of occasions and have yet to have an ounce of trouble from the gun. Seems a great value...
Stevens Model 87A.

Just pulling that from the interweb. I have an old JC Higgins .22 as well...
That's mostly what I was wondering.
My thoughts on what he did: it was wrong, but it certainly seems it could have been handled without an arrest.
What if he'd threatened you at the bus stop, with a realistic fake gun and you were carrying a real gun?
Here's a fun story from my childhood...
From my hometown: http://hamptonroads.com/2008/12/suffolk-boy-9-charged-brandishing-toy-gun-bus-stop
What will the likely implications be of this kid's screw up? I'd hate to be barred from owning firearms or kept out of college because of a toy gun at age 9. I'm not saying what he did was...
I'm not sure if you have to inform in NC or not, but I do know that if you write "under duress" on anything at any point in your arrest, your handcuffs will magically fall off.
Take that to the bank.
A/K/A Tommy Chong is a "documentary" on Tommy Chong's federal bust. They used a very similar setup on there. A guy kept calling and trying to convince Tommy's bong company to sell him bongs in some locality where it is illegal to sell glassware like that.
I thought it was entrapment, but...
Twas the point of the winking smiley face...pointing out the humor in basing the quality level of a company that has been selling firearms in the US under various owners since 1968 on a sample of ~200 guns seems a little ludicrous, just it would be ludicrous for me to never buy another Beretta...
I think I'm going to give the Griptilian a shot since I really like Benchmade from my limited experience with their knives. By the time I get the sucker hunting time will be over for this year...such is life.
That Case knife with the interchangable blades is an interesting idea that might suit...
Consider the sample size...not exactly scientific. Funny part about it is that since they're cheap then they're 'junk' when they don't work. If a pricey 1911 doesn't work it's because it needs "breaking in".
Only gun I've had fail was twice as expensive as my Taurus...and made by a big...
Near 1,000 rounds through my PT745, trouble free.
Friend has a Taurus/Rossi .357 that hasn't given him trouble, but he seldom shoots or carries it. He's the kind of guy who just buys guns to buy guns...some of his have no use to him other than to just "have"...his .357 falls in that category.
Thanks for all of the great suggestions. Whitetail primarily, duck coming close second (usually in swamps as opposed to blind hunting) and squirrel a distant third.
Hunting, although not year 'round would essentially be it's primary "actual" use since I normally use my pocketknife from day to...
Looking for a new knife. I carry a folder everyday and decided that I'd like a new one for Christmas.
Here's what I'd like it to do or be or be "like":
1.) Slightly longer than average folding blade (something around 4" blade). If I can get a folding blade that long, then I can have a...
Number two in TV ratings, NASCAR? PGA Golf? LPGA? :what:
Kidding...but seriously, not all :neener:
That's sorta my point...good for the goose, good for the gander: if I went into a bar in North Carolina, I might be a valid permit holder in VA, but that doesn't mean the 2nd amendment...
I just want to know what his lawyers strategy here is...he's shot himself in the leg. If we accept that as fact, and also accept that he doesn't have a valid NYC permit...how was he NOT in illegal possession of a concealed weapon?
I already told my girlfriend (VT 08) that that will be my policy (career Tech student...year 5) upon graduation. Her policy is "I'm in medical school".
Hunted the same piece of land for the past three weekends. Killed a deer on the rainy day out of those three weekends...
That's the fact of it, but it's deceiving because we actually saw one deer that day and killed it whereas previous (sunny) days we were seeing multiple deer and just not...
Gotcha. I know the last time I was in there and they had a Colt AR-15 stamped "Military/Law Enforcement Use," specifically why I was wondering...curious what made one AR mil/LE and another one not need that marking. Apparently my answer is currently nothing. I can live with that.
