If some internet goon was making up total lies, saying my business was going under, which in turn could affect my bottomline, I'd be pissed too.
Also, its worth noting Robarm did not go under, so we can see who had the real malfunction in that thread
George Hill was rude and pissy and got...
Can you imagine if it was flipped around and Robarm made a product with features blatantly yanked off a patented Magpul design.
Everyone would be cheering over the suit.
I ran a select fire prototype mini version through the John Farnam class. We let several shooters do consecutive mag dumps. There is no significant heat transfer to the bolt.
The long stroke piston does a great job of keeping heat and fouling out of the action. The XCR runs impressively clean...
The XCR stock can be used as a breaching tool, but the SCAR stock better accommodates different body types, clothing worn, body armor and optics configurations, thus making it an overall better stock at the expense of some durability.
Thankfully, I've been living with the XCR for awhile, so...
I got a few PM's asking about how the SCAR compares to the XCR.
At this point, I would take the XCR. Why? Because the XCR has a slew of options, configurations and is overall a more interesting firearm. The XCR trigger is better, the ergos are better, and I like being able to actually get SBR...
I own both. I dont have a ton of rounds through the SCAR yet, but I have shot it side by side with the XCR. I have a good foundation for a basic comparison. Exactly what do you want to know?
I have to agree. General consensus on the XCR is its a 1.5-2 MOA weapon. I've seen 1 shot kills on small targets on the move at over 100 yards. If a person is getting 4 MOA something is very wrong
Took these pics earlier this week. Enjoy.
Oh, and if you look hard, you might be able to catch a glimpse of the new stock...It's there, I promise. These are still prototypes FYI
You can see all the pics here: http://xcrcarbine.com/forum/index.php/topic,154.0.html...
Quick pics from shooting today. Full auto FNC was part of the fun. The light wasnt very good so the quality is a little rough. I will give shooting impressions later when I have time
I dont have a measuring tape handy, but I am going to guess the OAL is 30", and 21" folded...give or take.
9" barrel.
5.56 is the caliber. However 6.8 and 7.62x39 will also be available.
If you own an XCR, all you need is a new PDW upper.
I think you mean the locking tab on the Troy rail...
I will add more details later because I have to run out. This is just a prototype. Production is not ready yet. Here are the pics for now though.
Enjoy
Nice Bag!
Even Better
(Get another one. Terra will replace it for free.)
(If you want the bolts to stay in there, they will stay in there. I removed mine, cleaned the threads and bolt, applied red loctite, and torqued them to spec. Issues: 0. The internals get very little heat. You can place the BCG in your...
I got to hold one. It felt slick and well put together. It's scary small for a 7.62 NATO gun.
Sadly, Kel-Tec has a bit of a problem getting product out. Hopefully Kel-Tec cranks em out, because its going to be a hot little item for sure.
