Can the plastic rear sight base be replaced with metal from Browning? I hate plastic.........

I'd like to get a Browning Buckmark. there are so many different model, is there one better than the other? Prices vary so much. I'm looking at the Camper and the Contour URX. Why such a difference in prices?

What I'm looking at from K-Var is an Arsenal built piece. Its through the mail so I can't see the thing until I get it. More than likely, it will be a range weapon. I have another AR with a millett DMS 1 and wanted something a little different. The DMS is an awesome scope though.
