Rust on my powder funnel baffle?

Is that what this is? Or is it something from leaving powder sitting for several months? If it is rust, what can I do prevent this?

Primer setback after firing (with no powder load or bullet)

I just reamed a LPP pocket on a single piece of 10mm brass down to an LRP with a pocket reamer, I wanted to see if my Glocks striker would be potent enough to set off these CCI magnum LRP's and after loading the empty casing with just the primer and dropping it into the chamber it fired but I...

    Desiccant question.

Can I store primers/powder with desiccants? Is this safe or can it damage the powder/primers?

Any way to test primer power/efficiency?

I have these LR primers pulled from some German dm28a2 7.62x51 blanks. Is there any way I can test them to see how they perform compared to standard LR primers that doesn't involve loading live rounds? How much difference can a primer make in chamber pressure, is it safe to just blindly use...

    Pyrodex .500 S&W

Would it be safe to shove as much pyrodex into a .500 S&W case as can physically fit in there, before shoving a bullet in an crimping it before the pressure shoves it back out again? I can't imagine any amount of the stuff that could fit in a .500 S&W case would ever cause pressures to spike...

Seeking 500 S&W load data for 350gr Sierra JHPs with H110/W296 powder.

As title says, I came into a box of these and I am trying to find some load data that uses Hodgdon H110 or Winchester 296 powders, so far the only data I can find is utilizing Accurate and Ramshot powders, of which I have none.

    Replacement scale suggestions?

So the Hornady scale that came with my LnL kit is pretty jank, its kinda slow to read and the displayed weights jump around by +-0.2 grains every now and then, and if you leave a weighted amount sitting in it for an extended period of time the displayed weight grows by as much as 0.6 grains over...

    Are these rounds over-crimped?

Cartridge is .500 S&W. I'm also not getting consistent seat depths when crimp+seating these bullets, I think its because the seating plug is squishing the lead down as it seats the bullet. Should I be seating, then crimping?

How much brass to load in the Frankford Arsenal LITE Tumbler?

Is this too much .500 S&W brass for a frankford LITE tumbler? Is it too little? How much detergent should I put in there? How many pounds of pin media, and how much lemishine per load? Also can I use any dish soap or should I stay away from certain ones?

CFE BLK with heavy .500 bullets...

Anyone tried this load with hornady .500 cal 500gr projos? How are they getting such high velocity with this powder? The 440gr load with the same powders is only giving a velocity difference of 18 fps between the CFE BLK and 296/H110. Somehow the 500 grain load manages to get 146 fps more...

New to reloading, gonna buy a press and start with .500 S&W, have some questions.

I've been playing with quickload for the last couple weeks on and off and I've noticed a few things about the .500 S&W cartridge and I've got a few question for anyone who loads it. Obviously and as per quickloads warnings every time you launch the program, I'll be buying a manufacturers...
