As far as web info here is a pretty plainly stated summary, I'm assuming that a 10-22 is exempt as a rim fire long gun.

Looks like you may need to be cautious if your 10-22 has any tacticool pistol grip etc.
Also I read the quoted text above as...
Auction is the way to go. I just saw a web retailer in another forum admit that they have done this with their stock so that they are not accused of gouging.
But since this is THR ill go out on a limb and say that it does make me a little ill to see individuals listing their stripped plumb...
M are you sure about this. Granted it has been a couple years, but MA grants non-resident hunting license, etc. I was under the impression that long guns were ok for authorized use such as at a range, etc.
One thing that has Long been true is that non residents can't buy ammo.
I think the derringers are still a great idea and look fantastic....you could also laser engrave the grips with some kind of symbol, etc... And BTW get five of them anyway, this is your last chance to go with the bros before.... Well you know what I mean.... You can't leave your Bro or yourself...
Just about any AK would be a good trade for a G17...and possible. Many AK owners purchased when they were cheap and plentiful, so might be willing to do a straight trade for your Glock.
I wouldn't scoff at the Kel-TEC. I think Ruger LCPs are under 300 from Buds, but perhaps a bit steep. They would all have to be in state residents for an HG...interstate the fed transfer regs kick in....
Please post a pick when you get the laser etching done.....
I kinda like the idea of...
I have been thinking about this quite a bit....and curious to see if anyone replies... i have seen a few threads pop up that suggest Kryolon fusion as a good option, or another rattle can that is specifically designed for plastics, and even more so flexible plastics.
Tagging to see other...
Ok just a quick endorsement of CPC.. Turn around time was just over a week including shipping and this was during Thanksgiving week. Payed with a USPS mone order. Barrel, receiver and bolt came back nicely packaged....better than the tube I sent them in.... Work looks great and has been...
Thanks for the example on CA law... I am well aware, but it becomes increasingly clear that the true answer to the OP is that one cannot answer his question without a clear grasp of state law. Since there is not necessarily any federal law that covers the transportation of a handgun in most...
stay classy brickeyee.....
clearly there is a conundrum when it comes to carrying a pistol.....it is not as black and white as you seem to want to make it, and clearly in my post I stated that local law trumps all opinions. Just for the sake of debate how should one carry a pistol to another...
I don't want to contribute to the argument that this would be a good practice. But a firearm in a container not attached to the body I doubt would be "concealed carry." In the ridiculous state of California one of the only remaining work arounds to our carry bans and restrictive CCW system is...
If you want range brass of mixed origin send me a pm....I'd be happy to help a guy out.... I have been sorting a bucket of brass I scooped up at my club.....lots of .223.... No guarantees but it has had a detergent bath and is drying out right now... Could make a reasonable deal just to help...
I waded through 10 pages of this thread, interested that all is negative. I love shooting and spend much of my day thinking about a particular build I'm working on etc. I have made many friends shooting at my local club, and I wish someone would do a documentary on my local Rod and Gun, some...
I'll simply add that I experienced great turn around time from CPC. I had a barrel threaded to my 10/22 receiver. I'll let you know more when I get it to the range!
I don't mean to be captain obvious, but just in case, did you try punching from the opposite side... Also there is not really anything that can be hurt by really whacking it..... Might replace it with an after market.....
Yep! But I like the concept, perhaps Red Jacket will make one for me!
In all seriousness, I don't understand any criticism of functional firearms. Seems like someone posted in this thread a $40 buck pistol..... That is a great find in my book... Every platform has it's fans and I respect...
