The OP is shooting 1000 yards with a Ruger.... your dreaded nemesis.... with $100 scope.
I'm not sure what point you're trying to make by mentioning $5000 rifles and being good enough for air guns to 100 yards.
I'm not arguing with you, as I don't know what your experience with rugers have been. And he got lucky with the ruger lottery......but I will admit that the RPR punches above its weight......but rest assured the bean counters will figure out a way to save a few quarter pennies here and there and it will follow the mold of all ruger arms.
I'm not arguing with you
Point is you spend good money in putting together a ELR rifle, then outfit it with a middle of the road scope.
And he got lucky with the ruger lottery......but I will admit that the RPR punches above its weight.....
this is a very strange thread to me.
given the list of gear in the OP, why is the title of the thread and focus on how much a cheap scope costs? given how far off the first miss was in the video, i don't think it proves anything. why don't we talk about the phone skope or the other interesting items? or how in the heck they put a target on that hillside (maybe it's not as steep as it appears in the video?) i'd most like to hear about what the winds are like at that location and if he gets much vertical
ahh...crap, if i knew there was draw for that i coulda done it yesterday.......never tried to shoot a group upside down before....betcha can!Jack wagons: “Those are not tough conditions. Let’s see how your cheap scope does upside down in the rain...”
