YES!:D :D :D :D

Sportsman's would be very cool.

In the Boise area check with Shooter's World (our only indoor range), Boise Gun Company, and Shapel's Gun Shop.

Message me for the phone numbers if needed.

"Cheap" White Box

Would you believe "cheap" yellow box UMC has been available for a good number of years, at least 8 or 10? Probably watered down by Norma standards (what ain't?) but it exists.

Supposedly a 180 grain FMJ at 1150 fps, compared to the Norma 170 grain bullet at 1300 fps or the Winchester Silvertip at 1237 fps (my chrono data), yes it is watered down. It ain't all that cheap either at $14 to $15 a box of 50.

Don't forget the GA bulk discounts... their 180gr LFN 10mm is $160/1000, which works out to $8/box. :)

Miwall stuff at the local gunshow is $8.50 - $9.00 / 50. I buy it to shoot the components out and reclaim the brass for my reloading endeavors. :)

If there were a 10mm platform in existance that I liked (like SIG.. if you build it, I will come!!!) I would be quite interested. Very flexible round, it seems, but I'd be most interested in the highest power loads that exceed what the forty can do.... which is much more than most 10mm advocates give it credit for; GA Arms loads 155 gr gold dots in .40 to 1200 and 1300 fps. [I assume] the exact same 155 gr gold dot in their 10mm load is listed at 1375 fps.

Sideways, doubletake, disgusting, etc. .... not my concern, as I don't take offense or become offensive to those that may attempt a confrontation, upon disagreeing with my choice of apparel. I just continue to smile and perhaps engage them in polite response(depends on the variables at the time).

But, I do really like the T-shirt MCNETT!

Oooo, I don't like lead in any of my 10mm's. Just too much bad carma from clean-up afterwards.

Funny, my AET barrel cleans up nicely after shooting lead. Just a few run-throughs with some patches and FP-10 makes it good as new. Of course, those with lesser barrels may have to break out the elbow grease...

Not Nice...

... not nice at all, Sean.

It allways seems that there's at least one spot in the barrel that just won't co-operate. Then I get out the JB bore paste. Follow-up with a good normal cleaning and all's well. Just one more step that I'd prefer not to have to do.
