Back over 20 years ago when I shot bullseye matches I'd say over half the guns on the line were Hi Standards. Considering they closed their doors in 1982, it said a lot for the quality and reliability of a Hi Standard target pistol. Most were Supermatic Citations, or similar models. About half were slant grip, and half military grip. I've got 4 original maagazines for mine. Had a couple aftermarket, but they were rarely 100% reliable.
Never seen any that weren't stamped steel sheet metal?

I have only seen a few High Standard's on the firing line, parts availability seems to be a major factor. If you bought lots of magazines, you may have a pile of stamped sheet metal, the value of, is close to silver, in terms of dollars per ounce.
