I have a stainless Remington with a conversion cylinder and 194 rounds of factory GOEX .45 Colt.
It's 194 rounds because I shot off six of the original 200 before the cylinder started to seize up on the fouling. This was not what I was expecting; I assumed there would be internal lubrication on the bullets.
So how do I keep the thing running?
Stuff the front of the cylinder with Crisco?
Coat the bullets with wax, like this Austrian 11mm?
What was/is the usual practice?

PS. Is it just because it's stainless steel?
