the 722-721 triggers are adjustable...

As eastbank affirmed, triggers on the Model 721/722 rifles can be adjusted. Its three screws, according to author Frank de Haas, permit adjustments for weight-of-pull, trigger take-up (creep or sear engagement) and over-travel. It is noted that once the factory sealant on the adjustment screws are broken they usually become quite (too) easy to turn and it's recommended that after all adjustments have been made, a drop or two of Loctite be reapplied.

The Remington M-720 was one of the finest bolt action rifles ever made in the US or anywhere else. The were made for only a few years and discontinued during WWII, never to return. Attached is a photo of a 720 in my collection, showing the Enfield style safety mentioned in previous posts. DSC08932.JPG

The Walker trigger issue is a completely separate issue. The Walker trigger is not adjustable. (Which isn't to say people didn't mess with them on their own.)
OR

Walker triggers are adjustable. I had mine done by a gunsmith years ago and watched him do it. Two screws that are adjusted in or out. That's it.
