our tax is high here is WA 10%$58.18 out the door ... maybe I've lived too long ...
I thought $28.00 was high several years ago ... but having a sneaking suspicion things were going to get worse I hoarded up a Lifetime Supply by buying primers every time I came across them offered for sale ... hoarded up a lifetime supply of powder too .
Lord knows what they will cost in another 3 1/2 or 4 years ... they might be illegal to sell stuff like primers , powder and bullet moulds !

I’m just going to stock pile it as high as a I canNice find, great price. Things do seem to be getting better - slowly.
What are you gonna put them in?

come down in priceI wouldn't do it at that price. If we start buying all they have at that price, guess what they willl never do?
I need some for .44 Mag project I will be working on… If I seen SPP or SRP I would have passed, unless i was a great dealprices of everything have/will reset - the past is the past. This is the new world....
$53 at retail is pretty good today. I have spent more, recently
I think there is no such thing.... now there can be a huge pile of powder that doesn't meet your needs and that's a different game.I also passed on Tons of Powder for $26-$33 per # on sunday. I already have way too much powder
Exactly. I just bought a brick of them at my LGS for right at $40.00. Which was pre-pandemic price for Federals.I wouldn't do it at that price. If we start buying all they have at that price, guess what they willl never do?
Like the OP said -show off your find - receipt?Exactly. I just bought a brick of them at my LGS for right at $40.00. Which was pre-pandemic price for Federals.
But not as low as they will go if we are patient and stop buying lifetime supplies at these prices.$53 at retail is pretty good today.
to be fare… These are Federal Gold Metal Match!Exactly. I just bought a brick of them at my LGS for right at $40.00. Which was pre-pandemic price for Federals.
Hence the today caveat - they may get cheaper, time will tell, I don't expect pre "covid/craziness" prices. Not only for primers, but most things. But not as low as they will go if we are patient and stop buying lifetime supplies at these prices.
we don’t have state income tax, so they get ya were they canWow, 9.8% tax on a necessity. Glad you found them. Nice price.
like the RCBS press thread, their is a real issue with shipping and cost of labor. I for one think Doom&Gloom is comingHence the today caveat - they may get cheaper, time will tell, I don't expect pre "covid/craziness" prices. Not only for primers, but most things.
I don’t know Sir, I have a bad feeling about this shortageBut not as low as they will go if we are patient and stop buying lifetime supplies at these prices.
