Howdy folks,
I don't like telling people this because if word gets out that a guy born and raised in ND has only been to a gun show once in his life (as a 5th grader), I might be banned from ever entering the state again or worse. Seriously though, where can I find out when and where gun shows will be taking place? Not just in ND either. I'm stationed out of CA so NV and AZ are acceptable too, assuming it's legal to buy guns there (is it?). ND, MT, and ID are also okay as I usually make the long haul from CA to ND 2 or 3 times a year and a little detour would break up an otherwise long and boring drive.

I havent heard of any in the ND, SD area. I livein SD and it is rather dissapointing since there are no gun shows that I am aware of.

I know from personal experience that this site works well for gun shows in California...

http://www.bdarn.com/gunshows/

All the other states are listed there as well.

I've been to some outstanding gun shows in California. So, if you're leaving Cali in an attempt to find better shows, you may not have to do that. Plus, buying in Cali if you're living in Cali is a smart maneuver.

dakota territory gun collectors assoc. holds guns shows all over S.D., and i believe up in N.D. as well, usually in the fall (sept-oct)in aberdeen, sioux falls, rapid city, other?

Most of the gunshows in ND occur during the fall and winter. I am sure you are aware of the legalities of needing to have the gun shipped to an FFL in your state of residence. Best way to do this is to ask a local FFL if you can have some copies of his license before the trip in case you find anything interesting. Make sure you agree on the fee beforehand though.

Look up Crossroads of the West on the net, and you'll find the schedule for all of the remainder of the year.

Nevada has the Cashman Show coming up the second weekend in May. Cashman Field in Las Vegas. Most gun sales to someone with a California ID would have to have a FFL transfer done to a dealer near your home. DOn't forget they may not sell certain items if they are not on the "approved" California list.
