.22 ammo price question

Fact is the Democrats will pick up seats in the House and Senate in the 2014 elections and in 2016 Hillary will become thr President as there is not a single republican capable of wining in 2016. So its best to position yourself for such an event.

Got any tips on this week's Super Lotto? IMO Obamanation Care will destroy the Dems in the next election but what do I know?

I bought a 325 box for about 7 cents a round recently. The price will come down. Competition will drive the price down when the threat of new gun laws is over IMO. That will likely happen after the mid-term election in a year. I'm hoping prices come down before then but I'm still picking up a box here and there for better prices than $40 a brick of bulk.

There certainly is some target grade ammo made in the US. The best ammo I've ever shot is made in the USA. Federal Gold Medal Ultra Match ain't cheap but none of the top match ammo is. It's been better than any of the high grade stuff I've shot and I don't know of any top grade ammo I haven't tried.
Buy it now. The price will not come down. The long term trend in gun ownership is not good. Yeah, we might win an election or two that will slow things down, but get it while you can. And for the record, I have not given up - I write my letters and donate to NRA ILA.

The price will be whatever one is willing to pay.

The largest retailer in the world does not use this method to price their goods. WalMart.

And you know this as a fact? How? My crystal ball is on the blink at present.

It is NOT scalping or gouging if YOU WILLINGLY pay their asking price

I think you might wish to look up the meaning of scalping.

This is in regards to tickets but the same applies to goods as well.

No, it doesn't - you do NOT have to buy this stuff at all, let alone from this particular store. You are free to take your money elsewhere if you do not like the asking price - no different than a gun show

If you haven't already seen this video about "gouging" give it view - lasts about 5 minutes:

So scalpers selling tickets at a venue are no longer scalpers if they fail to sell their tickets?

Logic?

Stopped at the local gun shop this morning and picked up three bricks of cci .22 ammo on sale for $45.00 each. They had a lot in stock with no limit. Looking better every day.

Hey, sport, the days of $1.99 ammo are over. And yeah, if I had a few extra bucks, I'd buy futures in lead and copper, cuz ammo isn't getting cheaper.

Think and have whatever opinion you wish . You nor I have any sold idea what the prices of commodities will be in the near future or in the far future.

Tell me this being as you are so sure about the pricing of ammo. Why has not the price of match .22 rimfire ammo gone up over the last 8 years to any extent.

BTW, my screen ID is not "sport", if you wish to address me refer to me as jcwit.

I bought all the ammo I could see in 2008, around $3500 that year. Fortunately, I still have about 19k .22Lr in the garage. I think I averaged less than three cents a round. I'm glad I did. I have started reloading my center fire ammo because the components are a lot easier to find and cheaper than buying ammo off the shelf.

Obama should be a lesson to us all. Stock up when you can and hang on to it.

All the OP asked was how was a certain price. There is no reason to argue about or take shots at people over the price of .22 LR.......and we don't do politics.

I hope the OP 's question was answered.
