The AMT Automag IV(?) was most common in a 6" bbl but did come in a +/- 3" version. I assume you know about the NAA mini revolvers and are wanting a semi auto?

not a semi but ive been eyeballin a lightweight revolver, i think they go under 10 ounces

Remember the Grendel P30???IIRC ,it did not prove to be reliable...if someone DID iron out the bugs I wonder if the design could be "downsized " appropriately;while still insuring function....perhaps a barrel no shorter than 3.5-4 inches ;but with a small/flat frame..damn,you got me thinking:cool:

Steve H, I know of no .22 Magnum semi-auto "mouse guns". True, there are the small NAA revolvers and some snubbie .22 Magnum revolvers, but I have never heard of the creature mentioned in your original post. My gut feeling is manufacturers believe the cost of developing such a pistol would not justify its costs. Please do not misunderstand me. I am not opposed to the idea of a maggie mouse gun, but I do not see any incentative to build one. I hope this helps.

You have:

1. The NAAs
2. The SW or Taurus snubbies
3. Various derringers

As far as a Beretta or Taurus little semi - these guns are very finicky with 22 LR - I think the 22 mag round would be worse as it is long.

Given the new 380 little guys - the 22s offer little for a company.
