My CZ 457 was ok with what ammo I had available, but un-inspiring. Its very good with the drop in Lothar Walther barrel tho.
Im seriously considering having my FFL buddy order a Ruger American Rimfire in .17 for me as i dont think ill take rhe LW barrel off my 457. Even tho the .17 barrel was stunningly accurate, i just dont really want to swap tubes on my rimfire.
I had a mossberg 802 plinkster heavy barrel that was surprisingly accurate. On a good day I could give a good enough accounting for myself to say its mechanical accuracy was at least as good as the 457. The mossbergs major failing is its heavy trigger, and there wasnt much I could do about it without changing engagement angles and im loath to do that.
