Here's what ya should of done!!

Remember when Wallyworld sold the 550 round valu pac of Federal and Remington for around eight bucks??
Well, every time I went in to get something else, I bought a box and squirreled it away!! Now that the ammunition famine is upon us, I'm set!! In fact, I'm think'in about take'n the Rugers out to the range and blasting off a couple hundred rounds!!

i've never understood why folks who really like shooting their .22lrs only buy a couple of boxes or even a brick at a time...maybe they just like going to the store.

i just makes so much sense to me to buy at least 5000 rounds at a time, when i find a good price, and have it shipped to the house

It has been over a year since I have seen any .22 rimfire in Wallyworld. I bought 15,000 rounds of Federal Champion from them the day John McCain got the nomination, sure am glad I did.

I buy 90% of my ammo on line and dropped at my front door. Too bad some countys in Illinois ammo has to be ordered thru a FFL. I think California just past something like that too for the future.

Well the local wal marts around here have the win 555 for 17 bucks and are always in stock. I still remember 8 bucks a box and realy wish I had stocked up!

$26 dollars a brick for CCI SV at Dick's. WM hasn't had any when I went in for over a year. Don't really want to buy 5k of something I haven't fired before. Seems kind of a waste.

(For instance, my CZ452 likes the CCI SV, but my Neos likes something with a little more. I had a FTF shooting on the Neos with the CCI, but the report sounded just a tad weaker than the others. Only FTF or FTE I've had in about 2k rounds.)
