So I’m new to the forum and to reloading and I’m looking for some info. I’m loading .45ACP for my first hand loads using Hornady 45160 230gr HP/XTP. The only powder I currently have at my disposal is bullseye. The Hornady manual doesn’t show load data for this projectile. Is there a recipe using bullseye for this round? Is there a reason why bullseye isn’t listed for this?

I would use the 230gr Peer GDHP for my start load, that would be 4.5 gr. What Alliant list as "Charge Weight" is maximum load so reduce by 10% which would be 4.5 gr and see how that works.
I can't find any data for XTPs with Bullseye powder, it really is to fast for getting the best velocity for getting the XTPs to open up and they are expensive bullets so no manual is going to suggest using a powder that is, less than optimal for JHP bullets,
GDHP bullets are plated so they should open up easier than a true jacketed bullet.
You want to use Bullseye so this is the closest I could fine to the same seating depth as the XTP.

Don't consider the 5 grains of maximum with the GDHP bullets as a true max for the XTPs. They are not the same, but they seating depth is close to being the same. It will get you started.

Just an opinion... maybe just hold on to those bullets until you get a more appropriate powder? While XTP's aren't Unobtanium, like GoldDots seem to be, they are a premium SD bullet... and unless you are just loading them up to poke paper, I'd probably hold on to them and use a more generic bullet with that Bullseye, instead.
