Was looking lovingly at my Delta Elite (there really isn't any other way to look at it, either) over the weekend, and a random thought popped into my head.

'Heavy Metal' division in 3-Gun is, to the best of my knowledge, limited to 12 gauge (and up), .308 (and up), and .45 caliber (I assume you could go with a .44 Mag revover if you wanted).

Would 10mm auto qualify as Heavy Metal? It doesn't make it on bore diameter, but it puts out as much, if not more, muzzle energy than the .45 ACP.

    Just wondering.

Until there is a unified set of "He-Man/Heavy Metal" rules, my answer would be maybe.

Most places however still require a 45 ACP.

Check in with the MD and ask.
