If I couldn't carry all of that plus a tent, sleeping pad, E-tool, 2 days worth of meals, loaded individual first aid kit, while wearing body armor goggles and a kevlar helmet then I would have made a poor soldier... They don't issue us carts my friend.
Also, some matches may or may not have a rule requiring that long guns must be cased or otherwise safely carried when brought to the line.
I can see how that could cause some issues at times.
Carrying gear from a car to a shooting position isn't going to keep you in shape.
That's why I go to Crossfit.
Of course it won't if that's the only exercise you get, however it can only help add to a solid base of physical fitness. It certainly won't hurt anything other than maybe your reputation on the 3gun range when everyone else with caddys and carts sees you humping your gear in like you're going to war
