Can't say I go out with the .30 Carbine Blackhawk every week. I'd say about once a month. And probably put 100 rounds thru it. BTW, I've put almost every ammo make I can think of thru that puppy.The fact that you shot something for 19 years (with no mention of how many rounds) is hardly dispositive that someone could experience misfires.
