Someone recently sent me an email about the $300 life membership. If anyone needs sponsorship, just send me a PM. I'll give you my membership # and email.
The NRA is going to need all the help they can get I think.

Amen to that! The NRA is going to need all the help they can get I think.
That's a CHRISTMAS PRESENT if I've ever heard of one (in particular now that we need numbers as never before!). Like Longknife12 mentioned above, all of the Life Members posted in the thread here (myself included) are chomping at the bit to help out. PLEASE do not hesitate to PM or post for the needed sponsorship information (which obviously has also already been posted throughout this voluminous thread).I just did this a few days ago. The $300 deal is still available - just call and ask.
bklee,PM sent for sponsor request. I am new to this board but not to the rights of sportsman and gun owners. I am an active NRA basic member and active within our community and local gun club (which is 100% NRA) supporting our God given rights. The NRA is going to need our support now more than ever.
Amen to that Brother! All of my PM's have been answered to date.
Please understand that PT92, myself, & others are not doing this for any monetary gain. I am not a recruiter, just someone who cares about this cause.
I'm still available.

Thanks to PT92 for his info - I just signed up as a life member. I didn't do anything in '94 and I'm not making that mistake again.

cvoharley, I got a different person the second time I called and they let it go through with the same info that the first person wouldn't. She did get on the phone and was obviously conferring with her supervisor, who probably gave the authorization. My question is, why would the NRA want to turn down people willing to give them money at a time like this?Jason, depending on which person you speak to on the phone they may ask for additional information such as a "sponsor's" last name and/or email address. Hence the reason why I have said to PM me in a previous post and I will happily provide this information. I'd just rather not have it in an open forum.
As PT92 has said, even if you don't become a lifetime member, at least join the NRA for $35. We need you!
