300BLK Which bullets to use???

How many of you use the low cost coated bullets for plinking or serious shooting? I have never fired a coated bullet but I see the much lower costs and all the ads saying pros use them in the tourneys and I think im going to try them out. Is there a downfall to using them?

Shoot pretty decent. More from paper target shooting. Nothing serious. Now they're $42/250.

I found I had to order a universal case mouth expander to keep from shaving the coating and lead. I use 12 gr. of Reloder 7, gets me to a bit over 1050 fps.
