Clark,
My friends and I have been using Promo/Red Dot for the 380 for a while. I'll look at my data and let you know what we have been running. At the small value 2.8gr, it may be hard to dispense in some measures with consistency, but the LNL PM handles it fine.
Adding info now...
Alliant had Red Dot data for 380 ACP in their older manuals. BDS had posted a scan of the relevant sections here some time ago.
I've been using Promo, which uses Red Dot data per Alliant's info. And my buddies have used Promo and Red Dot.
RC nailed it - 2004 data has 2.8 gr as max for a 100gr FMJ. We've been loading 2.6-2.9 with Berry's and Xtreme 100gr Plated seated at .955". We did work up to this. And it works very well in a variety of 380 pistols.
You are right, on the issues of inconsistencies at lower charge weights. One buddy had a lot of problems on the Lee Auto Disk. As I mentioned no issues on the LNL.
