I really need some .380 ammo for my new keltec p3at. I've looked everywhere and the only thing I've found is some reloads for $25 for 50. I'm not going to pay that for reloads. Anybody have a source?

I have some new Prvi Partizan .380 JHP 94-grain brass-cased at $35/box of 50 (3 boxes available) plus shipping (approx. $9.50 per box UPS ground).

Feel free to PM for questions/interest.

my Big 5 store had a shipment of ammo yesterday. I called at 10am and they hadn't put it on the shelves yet. I called again at noon and it was all gone except for one box of Remington Express .380 JHP (50 rds). I put it on hold and picked it up after work. $35.

I find them here or there... they are always gone within an hour or two of being unloaded off the truck. It's best to just call all the shops every morning... have them put one or two boxes on hold and pick them up on your lunch break...

I call academy on monday wed and fri to see what they got... they are limiting certain calibers to 2 boxes a customer, which I think is a great idea.

I picked up two boxes of their in house 380 a couple weeks ago for 15.99 a box

I really lucked out yesterday. One of my local gun shops just had a P3AT delivered and, since I was first on the waiting list, I got the call. Unfortunately, I don't have any .380 ammo and didn't expect to have access to any for at the very least 2-3 months.

HOWEVER, the good folks at the gun shop (Mike's Outdoor Sports in Pensacola) had the foresight to hold some boxes of .380 in the back storeroom JUST for customers that buy a .380 gun off of them.

So I left the store yesterday with a new P3AT, some new .380 rounds, and am a very happy camper right now. That was customer service, and then some, and completely unexpected.

Here and there, mostly steel case stuff at $17+ a box :( The gouging has gotten out of control sometimes.

One of my local shops holds ammo back for customers that buy guns and said they throw out people that try to buy up all the ammo. However most of the shops ammo prices are kind of gouge.

Geez! I thought people that bought your stuff kept you in business? Man, this aint the same country I grew up in!

I stumbled onto 2 boxes of American Eagle .380 for $18 at a small shop I hardly frequent. The owner is quite abbrasive to say the least, but I'll be stopping in from time to time to see what he has.
Also, a kid from work sold me a 100 round FMJ Wincester box and a 50 round Remington HP box for $25 since he didn't have a .380 anymore. I wanted to hug him.

Dick's in Knoxville, TN had plenty today for $18 for 50. If I had a .380 I would have bought some.

^Thats what a local store had it for, but when I went the next day, gone. I only have 25 rounds left :(

My colt is such a beauty too.

Yeah, the gouging is out of control :cuss:

In Mid-Michigan if you ask a gun shop if they have any .380 it's considered a joke.

I got a box of 380 Hornady Critical Defense for the GF's Easter basket at Williams Gunsight. You're right though, if you want to make a gun shop guy laugh ask about 380.

Folks, please don't pay *anyone* $35 or $50 for a box of .380 ACP. Just keep on keeping on, call your local stores every morning, and have them hold a box for you when one comes in. If you pay this big money for them you only encourage folks to hoard and gouge.
