You folks ain't gonna believe it but ole Lucky Gunner's got .380 ammo in stock from Aguila. It's expensive, that's for sure - but hey, at least they've got some!

FWIW, looks like there's no sales tax for those of ya outside of TN.

Anybody else found any .380 auto ammo in stock that's cheaper than what Lucky Gunner's got...?

Natchez had S&B last week for $17.99 a box...didn't last long though, had a 5 box limit.
My 5 should be here today.
You can sign up for a notice when/if they get more.

$34 a box of 50 for Aquila FMJ ???
I've bought .380acp online steadily over 2009 and have never paid that price for a box of 50. It just takes some looking around, some back-ordering, and some patience.

Thanks for the notification. It seems the Armory has "perpetual" Prvi Partisan stock at $29 and Cheaper Than Dirt was $40 a box last I looked. I just can't bring myself to pay more than $20 per 50 round box for FMJ. I agree with Jackstinson.....with patience and diligence you can find it cheaper.

Keep checking Wallyworld.
I got five boxes several weeks ago for 19 something a box, 50 rounds per box FMJ Winchester white box.

I called as I was going near there and had them hold five boxes. The guy had six total. He told me someone came in wanting more than the one box before I arrived, but he had held mine under the counter for me with my name on them.
Between the time I told him to hold them and I was there was no more than about 20 minutes.
I thanked him, he was nice to do business with.

My local gun store is selling it at about $40 a box.

Cough***RIP-OFF***cough.

My LGS has been selling them for either 13.99 or 14.99 (can't remember) a box. If they can sell it at that price and make a profit, well you get the picture.

I've also purchased most of my 380 from Midway and Cabelas. I order a month before I think i'll run out and have had 380 to shoot this whole year. I never pay more than 17.99 a box and I often get the 300 bulk deals that are slightly cheaper than that. I suggest that anyone paying over 18 dollars a box is wasting money. Just order early and be diligent with your price and stock checking and backorder times. I now have about 15 boxes just sitting waiting for my next 380 "whim" to strike. Never pay 30 dollars a box for Aguila. Other places have 380 for nearly 50 bucks a pop. That is stealing, pure and simple.

Plan for the future and order, wait, shoot, order, shoot, etc. It works.

Local gun shop got around 20 boxes in last week...their price was $12/box.

I'd imagine they are marking them up to around $20/box or so....

.380 is suddenly becoming more available as of lately.

I've had an order in with Midway since July.
Six times now they have bumped it out later.
Now, I will be lucky if I have them by November.
Or NEW YEARS, FOR THAT MATTER!!?!??!??!?!

Inspector: I'm sorry you're having problems with your order. I'm sure you ordered a brand of ammo which is not being produced at the moment or is allocated to other retailers, whatever. I have learned to order different brands of ammo and seem to have done well with that. I do remember having one brand of 380 continuously pushed back. I finally cancelled the order and went with something else that just magically came into in stock status. Still, I do receive a care package about once a month with about 6 boxes of 380.

Just ordered four boxes of pmc at Cabela's - 1 to 2 week backorder but I can't bring myself to pay $30 a box for this stuff.
Cabela's shipping is less, too.

Where was that? I check dang near every WalMart I go by, maybe 6 or more a week and haven't seen any 380 in a year! Did get lots of 9/40/45 recently but no 380.

I for one wish the the price hike had come much much sooner in this whole saga. I think supply and prices would be closer to normal by now if they had.

my Academy gets .380 in (or has for the last 3-4 months) a couple of times a month-- their ammo deliveries are M,W,F-- and they are good about sitting it out the same day. I sold my Bersa and kept only my HP CF-380 as a truck gun, or I would buy more ammo-- right now I still have about 5 boxes of FMJs and a box and a half (plus 2 loaded mags) of Hydra Shocks and almost a full box of Corbon +P marked, so I am ok for the duration...but I agree, I wouldnt pay $30+ for 380, especially since Academy's stuff is around $17-$18 a box--

Natchez had Rem Golden Saber 102 gr late last week for $20.99 per box of 25. ordered 2 boxes Thursday night and its at the local UPS station to be delivered tommorow.

LuckyGunner is obviously trying to become the next CheaperThanDirt. This makes two resellers that I will never spend another penny on in the future.

That's a waste of time in my area. Never have any .380, 9mm., 45.

You obviously haven't shopped in the last year. I check online every day, and have 500 rounds of .380 backordered. Buy a month ahead? Not now.

GunsANdMore: I got a package of 300 rounds this past friday from cabelas. I stand by my statements.

The gun shops in my area all have plenty of .380 and the last couple times I stopped by Wally World they had a number of boxes behind the glass. Feels like the shortage is coming to an end, at least around here.
