I've had my .45 Colt 4" Redhawk for a month or so, and after a couple of enhancements I am pleased with it.
Mine came from the factory with a 9# trigger pull on S/A. After four hundred rounds and some polishing it's now at 5# and is reasonably crisp. D/A pull is now around 9#. The spring is completely stock.
The Hogue grips were uncomfortable for me, in my opinion are ugly, and are a royal pain to take off and put on. I now have Pachmayr Presentation grips on the gun, and much prefer them.
If you want to use the standard wooden Redhawk grips you will need the regular style grip locator (available from Brownell's for less than $3). The Pachmayrs will work with either the grip locator provided with the 4" that is designed for the Hogue monstrosities, or with the older style.
Accuracy is good, with my best results so far coming from 255 cast SWC's and W/W 231 powder loaded to approximate standard factory loads. It also does well with Hornady 250 XTP's and Blue Dot.
