Thankfully my 44 magnum lever action can take 10 more grains of powder than the Hornady book says is max. That was by accident, but that stump I was shooting is even more dead now.

You all ought to try 22.5gr of 2400 behind a 240gr bullet like my Lyman reloading book from 1973 states. Button your chin strap first.
