I am having a heck of a time deciding between the following firearms and any info i can get will help.1st SIG P220 CARRY SAS, 2nd HK USP COMPACT, 3rd GLOCK 36, 4th PARA CARRY, they are all fine firearms with different frames, slides, lengths, weights, etc. Ive narrowed the field down to these 4. So any ideas? Tks.

I'd pass on the Para, they seem to me to have reliability issues. My experience with them has been 50/50. For a small 1911 type, maybe a Kimber Ultra Carry? Mine's been 100% for 1000s of rounds.

You can't go wrong with any of the rest. Rent 'em and buy your favorite. :)

They each have some aspects that you should look into:

The SIG has a full size frame with a compact slide. Make sure you like the way it balances on your hip as well as when shooting.

The HK compact is smaller than the full size version, but many folks still find it large and unshapely for concealment.

The Glock 36 is compact, but it is still a Glock. Make sure you like the ergonomics and the trigger.

The Para is hit or miss on reliability, as well as is their customer service.

I liked my Para C6 (predecessor to the Para Carry) enough that I bought a second. Both of mine are LDA, which opens some options. Traditional 1911 guys can carry it with thumb safety engaged, revolver/DAO guys can ignore the thumb safety and treat it like a Glock (remember Rule #3, please).

Long, smooth, light trigger, sweet action, reliable, controllable and accurate. I had to tune the extractor on one of them, the other has been trouble free.

Only change I'd like to see is an alloy frame. Size is great, but with weight (to me), less is more.

It's not in your list, but have you considered the Taurus Millennium Pro PT-145? 10 round capacity, and extremely reliable!

I have the PT-111 Pro, granted it's the 9mm version, but a great value on a very durable gun!

I'd go with the Glock 36, lightest of the group, and for ccw, the lighter the better(imo):)

h&k

I have a H&K USP40, its a good weapon, but... I'm not a fan of the trigger pull it seems very spongy and very bulky for a carry gun. The Glock would be a decent choice.

I dont think its good for pocket carry for a number of reasons. while it is "light", its not light enough. Its got plenty to snag on the way out of a pocket, and while its "small", again, not enough.

That said, I carry one everyday in a Fist holster with aforward cant. Love it
