Specifically, 45ACP (full size M&P) bullet: dardas 200 lswc. would WST be a good powder? I know it's a bulky powder typical 5gr load net almost a full case (zero chance for double drop w/o a major mess). Is it dirty burning?
help is always appreciated. aj b

WST is pretty clean. It's also fast (like many good .45 ACP powders) and fairly bulky for a fast powder.

I've never burned any in .45, but have used a lot in .40 for target loads. I like it.

I like WST with 45 a lot. It meters well, burns clean, and very accurate in my pistol. I have shot both 200 and 230 gr. lead very successfully using it.

Have not shot it with any copper jacketed bullets though.

WST is by far the best powder I have ever used in my 45's and I have used a lot. It's clean, it's soft shooting and it is scary accurate.

When Olin replaced the old 452AA powder with WST I switched to WST and it is the best .45 ACP powder I have found. Very clean, very efficient, and yup, scary accurate. I also have had very good luck with Bullseye and Red Dot but the WST is definitely the cleanest burning.
