I think these are not considered to be as cool because the grip is attached, but I just like them better. I have one of the traditional AK's but I don't like it as much as these guys.

This one now has a folding stock, and has been known to reside in a tennis racket case in my back seat.

I have another hand guard set but you need that gas pipe for it to fit/work, which is like $90
