5th Circuit strikes down not possessing a firearm under Restraining Order

https://slate.com/news-and-politics...h-clarence-thomas-bruen-second-amendment.html

Article states that if the decision is appealed, it will get overturned at Scotus by 3+Roberts, Kavanaugh. Discusses why Kavanaugh really isn't a Bruen true believer and as a history of supporting some types of bans.

This has been noted before and has implications that if the current wave of locale ban laws and AWBs get to Scotus, can't really count on him or Roberts. Points out also that the historical rule of Bruen is a mess as it works only if there is majority for guns. A majority the other way will find enough history to support bans.

For ease of reading the decision that will be appealed.

My spidey sense tells me that this case is a setup. It's a way of putting the Supreme Court in an embarrassing position, with the ultimate goal of limiting the impact of Bruen. Justice Thomas is out on a limb, and the other justices are beginning to realize it.
