Thank you for the link to the site, MR.357Sig. I did not hesitate as soon as I saw the SR 1911 in stock -I ordered it! $611.92 shipped plus whatever my FFL will charge me. I am psyched! Got an email today from the seller saying they have me on their list. So for you folks out there who've been through this before I just have to say I'm still new at this game.

The Ruger SR1911 is so hot I have no idea when I'll be able to actually get one for a decent price. LGS has one for $759.00 and will not drop the price because he's convinced someone will eventually buy it at that price.

Well, being kind of old fashioned myself I can remember folks who were born before the Instant Gratification Age - they would say that good things come to those who wait.
