So finally got my 627PC I dont' have tie to make it to range right now so it's been dry fired only. I've used snap caps to do about 300 dry fires so far in double action trying to smooth out the trigger a bit. Over this weekend I've had my brother in laws 686+ at y place and can't help but notice his double action seems lighter than mine. Now he walks around his house dry firing this gun all day long. So the question is can I expect the trigger to loosen up a bit, or will the the trigger always be a bit heavier due to the larger cylinder? I have noticed though that the cylinder rotation speed of the 627 is faster than the 686, and drawing the hammer back isn't gritty like the 686. The single action is beautiful perfectly crisp probably around 3.5 pounds, maybe less.

I have a 627PC and while it has a great trigger, I lightened the double action trigger by putting in a slightly lighter Wolff rebound spring.
