That's a big plus, but its a proprietary upper and lower, I'll have to see what else fails to interchange before I spring for one. Also need to see if they get the firing pin and extractor right or mess up like SIG did.
I love the shooting the 7.62x39 round and I love the AK for what it is -- brute force simple and reliable, but when you go over $500-600 for an AK I can't help but think sow's ear --> silk purse. At the range I generally prefer something with better ergonomics than the AK.
