Here's a good write-up on the Sig:

No offense but I'd give basically zero credibility to a Gabe Suarez review. I can summarize his reviews, if he is selling it then its the best thing since sliced bread. If he isn't then its crap and anyone that uses it is fat and stupid.

Go back and look at his reviews of say the saiga 308 and then how a short time latter when he wasn't pushing that gun anymore how they were junk.

Gabe is convicted thief and his gear reviews aren't anymore trustworthy (see e.g. the US palm magazine).

SKS vote

If it's just for H.D. and range fun like the OP mentioned then I'd just go with an SKS. Hard to go wrong with that. I've had a Norinco since 1992 and it's been trouble free and reliable. Picked up a Russian in 1995 and so far that one's unfired and will probably remain so for years in case the Norinco ever wears out. So far the Norinco has less than 1000 rounds through it. I've seen SKS's that have thousands of rounds through them and are still going strong.
