You should go to your next major gun show. There is still tons of that stuff out there, both for sale and in private hoards. Bring cash and some negotiation skills.

I don't know about you, but after 20 rounds from my Mosin, I'm ready to shoot something else! 2500 rounds would last me a long time.

I lament the disappearance of the 7.5 French surplus ammo that was out there a couple of years ago. I wish I had bought more!

I still lament the loss of all the cheap surplus 7.92 Mauser and .303 British. But all good things come to an end. So I handload for these calibers. Buy the components and "stack them deep". I don't shoot them that quickly, and one good loading session sets me up for months of shooting.
