Hello,

Anyone eve have one of these safes. This is what the high end jewlery stores use and I was thinking of buying the largest one for $4600.00 plus shipping. The safe weights 5900 pounds and I wounder if ir would hurt my slab in my garage thats attached to my house. Any ideas?

You probably won't find anybody on here that has one of these.

Although the rating is what most jewelry stores need, and the safe is probably found in all sorts of jewelry stores, it is not "the" safe. Original is a mid grade safe, and would probably be overkill in most residential applications.

You should speak with your local company that will be selling and/or moving it. They can address all of your concrete questions. I can speak in general terms, but they tend to build houses differently from one part of the country to another.

How does an Original 7036 TL30X6 compare to an an Amsec Amvault CF7236 in level of protection?

It's obviously used. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I would do the same. And my guess is the shipping and installation is going to be almost as much as the safe!

ISM is probably one of the better manufacturers. There are a bunch of others, some not even in business any more. Kaso, Fichet, Tann, Bischoff, Rosengrens, Chatwood, SLS, etc. There are a bunch of them.
