I have mostly Remington 700s and find them to shoot very well and have a great- stock ergonomics for me. I also have two Tikkas, the latest being a Tikka T3 Lite, which shoots under 1/2 min. with handloads and is nice to carry and shoot.
If you shoot more than carry, consider a blued model, but if you hunt more than shoot, a stainless model may be better for you.
I like Weatherby Vanguard S2s, but they tend to be a bit heavy for walking around.
Kimbers tend to be light and shoot quite well. They also have nice wood.
