9mm and .45LC Range Data

Finally, I promised a few of you that after i received my Pro Chrono and hit the range i would provide a report on my reloads.

I use a Dillon SDB and relaod 9mm and .45LC. I only had Tulammo Magnum large pistol primers for .45lc ammo so dont ask.:D

I used 4 different firearms, one 9mm semi auto, two different SA revolvers, One Lever action rifle, all are listed below.

Weather today: Clear to partly cloudy, 50-58 degrees during my range time.

Here you go:

Pistol: STAR 30M Semi Auto 9mm, Barrel 3.86in
Load Data: 124gr Montana Gold FMJ WSP, Win Brass 4.3gr W231,
OAL 1.150
50rds, AVG velocity 1023.95, STDEV 16.33, FT-Lbs Avg 288.
Hi-1042, Low 997, ES-52, PF Avg 133.0

Load Data: 124gr Montana Gold FMJ
WSP, Win Brass
4.4gr W231, OAL 1.150
50rds, AVG velocity 1057.8, STDEV 8.8, Ft-Lbs Avg 304
Hi-1081, Low 1042, ES-19, PF Avg 139.41

The 4.4 load shot more accurate and consistent 10,15,25 yds.
I will use this as my main load for IDPA and target, plinking.

The 5.0gr performed best at 10yds and 50yds. More consistent and accurate than the 4.6 gr loads. I will use this load for all my Cowboy guns.

Had a great day today, and did a lot of shooting, now i can have fun cleaning my brass and reloading again.:neener:
