I just got a box of missouri bullet company's 9mm 115 gr lead RN bullets and I've got a bunch of Red Dot that I normally use for reloading shotgun...

Anybody got any good recipes for 115 Lead RN with Red Dot? I can't seem to find very many recipes online.

The closest I can come is for a 120gr cast lead bullet listing 3.0 to 3.9gr of Red Dot out of the Lyman manual.

In the Lee manual the closest I can come to what you need is for a 115gr jacketed bullet. It lists 4.3 to 4.5gr of Red Dot.

Adjust accordingly as you see fit from this data.

I see no reason why Red Dot shouldn't do a fine job for what you need.

1.160.

Go shorter if needed. It all depends on the profile of the RN you have.

I'm running 124grn soft cast lead bullet with the 3.8 grains red dot. clocks about 1000fps (give or take 100. it's been a long time since I chrono'd it.) and I wanted to keep velocity down and the load light in a glock. even after switching to the lone wolf lead friendly barrel.

my OAL 1.052, never had a feeding problem. 124grn lead truncated cone. cast from pure wheel weight. not a 115 grain, but it's close enough to use a reference point.
