9mm DAG / GECO brass is evil

The 9mm has always been a problem child, even years ago. So many countrys used it and so many companies made it. Years ago, the rim was different enough on some, as to require a different shellholder. Different wall thickness, different rim, shot from different sloppy chambers, all these things made for a challenge. If I had plenty of brass, anything that was a problem would go in the scrap bucket. If I did not have any, then I would drill flash holes, work on it,ect. About the most that I will do to a 9mm is swage the primer crimp, and if it seats hard after that it gets re-cycled. Lightman

Speer 357 SIG brass has pulled the pin out of my Lee decapper a few times. There's nothing wrong with drilling the flash hole to the proper size. If you're careful, you can do it and then deprime the brass. Although I can usually manage to leave the range with twice the 9mm brass I went there with so it's easy enough to just recycle them.
