Yeah, I 'm thinking that with various brass, and the over crimp caused the variance in feet per second. Thinner brass released easier than say nickel plated?

But when I removed almost all crimp, things got real even real fast. Gonna get a batch of 124gr plated from Precision Delta and see how they do with minimal crimp.

be safe.

I agree with others, you have more problems than just crimp.

On the sizing/crimp issue. Size the case just enough to get proper neck tension (make sure you cannot push the bullet further into the case with finger pressure) and crimp just enough to remove the bell.

If you pull the bullet on a completed round and you have swaged the bullet smaller in diameter where it contacts the case, you have too much crimp.

Could be just a mix of old bottom of the barrel, first reloads that I had made a few years ago, powders etc. variable coals, used up all the 700x! that could be alot of it, who knows.

I really not too worried since what I am shooting now is running very consistant. :)

Sometimes you just have to keep trying and appeasing the power greater than myself, and then one day it all falls together, better than before.

STill lots to learn, be safe.
