If I was loading on the ragged edge of max charge I might be more concerned about getting check weights. Most of the plinking loads I use are a little above mid range to upper end load. Never had any issues yet. Maybe one of these days I will splurge on a set of check weights especially if I get to the point where I am trying to wring the last bit of accuracy from my loads. That would be rifle loads though as I don't have a handgun capable of target grade precision shooting.

Regardless of scale type used, I cannot stress the importance of verifying accuracy with check weights.

Closing the loop….

Shot 100 rounds of the “real” 124 gr XTreme/4.2 grains W231. Wow! What a nice shooting load! 100% function rate in 3 different 9MM guns.
